Aside from the yearly Ottawa Comic-Con, the only other show in town is called “The Sports Card and Collectable Show”. They happen every month or so and I’ve attended them for years. Every time I manage to find something awesome.
The next event will be a very different experience. My current plan is to have an eight-foot table at the September show.
All I have at this point are a few comics, some out of box toys, and those two Lego sets, that I can part with.
I still don’t have a table booked; I am going to wait until mid-august before I reach my final decision. It may be wise of me to wait until the next show, it all depends on how much stuff I can find.
Not only do I have to worry about inventory, I need to figure out what the hell I’m doing. Below I made a list of what I think I need before the show. I’ll make another list afterwards of what I actually needed and see how the two differ.
- Toys (obvious)
- Comics (obvious)
- Price tag gun or pricing sticker system
- Rent a van (Not lugging it on a city bus)
I wonder if I can buy food there…
